Balance Plan - Service for Chronic Conditions

Do you have ongoing health problems?

Are you concerned that your condition will worsen as you age?

If the answer is yes, then you may be interested in Balance, the Therapy Network's holistic new plan.

How does it work?

The Balance plan is not just for weight loss, (although that can happen, if necessary, as part of the healing process).

The philosophy is that the body is self healing (think of how a cut heals). Although not every condition can be completely reversed, it is in the body's best interests to make ongoing repairs, and prevent further deterioration.

Put simply, we need to provide our bodies with the opportunity, and the best internal environment, in order to heal.

Balance does not replace advice from your doctor, but is aimed at providing you with a plan to support immune function and help your metabolism to heal that can run alongside any interventions or medication already in place.

How do I follow the Balance Plan?

It is not a quick fix - experience has shown that integrating lifestyle changes in simple steps can be more effective in the longer term than trying to do it all at once.

There are three basic steps:

Step 1 -  An assessment appointment is made to take a case history. Within a few days of your assessment, The Balance team adapt "Stage 1" of the Balance plan, taking into account all of your health issues, your age, your family history, and your lifestyle commitments.

Step 2 - Call in for the first part of your plan, which will include nutritional advice and stress management.

Step 3 - Call in for subsequent parts of your plan and/or for follow up support.

You can choose to attend for the one-to-one follow ups on a fortnightly, monthly or six weekly basis.

The only proviso is that if you haven't attended for 8 weeks, you will need to redo your health check for a re-evaluation of your current health.
