Practice Management for Therapists - one day seminar.

New to practice or soon to qualify? Or want to review improving how you already promote your business? 

What are your next steps?  Do you have a business plan?  Where are you intending to practice?  How are you intending to promote yourself and your business? Do you know about charging?  If these questions are important to you and you would like to know what makes a practice successful, this seminar could be a wise investment in a career in complementary therapy.

Who is the speaker?

The speaker is Damian Etherington. With over 7 years experience in assisting the business development of health practitioners in the UK and Europe, Damian has a keen insight into practically integrating practice management within the health field. As well as his speaking/training engagements, Damian also runs the UK branch for Energetix, a leader in the field of professional nutritional supplements, herbal and homeopathic remedies, and business support.

Why Practice Management?

Although there are marketing and sales workshops and seminars out there, they are rarely focused on the complementary therapist. It is Practice Management that is key to the success of any complementary therapy business. 

Damian's goal is to introduce practical steps to understand practice management - whatever your chosen discipline.

• Purpose of a Business plan
• How goals relate to growth
•  Special considerations for new therapists - Where will I practice? - Renting rooms, sharing or on your own?

Any recently qualified or soon to qualify therapist/practitioner, or one looking for new ideas to take their practice to the next level.  We aim to provide a relaxed and supportive day to help you on your journey.          

What is the investment?

Your investment is £70 to include all course materials, and refreshments. Lunch not included. A deposit will be required. Certificate of attendance for CPD purposes available.

Introduction to the Balance Plan for Therapists/Practitioners  

Why a Balance Plan seminar?

Quite simply - because we have been asked to run one!  We know from experience that no one therapist knows it all, and our combined approach practice means that as practitioners we can offer a better service and better value for money to our clients.  Having been on the Balance Plan journey ourselves we know what has worked for us, and what hasn't - and we are ready to share this information with interested practitioners looking to expand the vision of their own practices.  To review our joint practice philosophy and services please see www.thebalanceplan.co.uk.

Who are the speakers?

The speakers are Balance Plan practitioners Sue Pash and Alison Brown.  Between them they have many years experience in the complementary therapy field.  Therapy Network colleagues, they began working together three years ago, doing extensive research and training that enabled them to formulate the Balance Plan concept.  They both also continue to work separately in private practice.  

What are the topics?

Although there are workshops and seminars out there, they are rarely focused on the complementary therapist looking to extend the scope of their practice by working with other practitioners. 

Our goal is to introduce the concepts behind our shared vision of the Balance Plan for you to take and integrate any applicable to the vision of your own practice.

• Designing a chronic conditions and weight control plan.

• Maintaining a separate private practice.
